An often unknown wild setting of the massif, with unusual viewpoints on the south-western slope of Mont-Blanc. You will enjoy many exceptional panoramas during this “wild” Cross-Country Skiing weekend in the Tré-La-Tête massif.

For good skiers in good physical shape. Passes and summits with technical difficulties. You need to have some experience in skitouring. Do not hesitate to contact us if you have any questions about the required level.
- We take the bare minimum of picknicks in the backpacks, we order them in the huts.
- Water during the meals is included.
- We prefer small groups.

Day 1 D+ 262m/D- 925m/D+ 518m
Departure from Contamines village (1,210 m) where you will take the ski-lifts. Departure from the summit of Roselette drag lift (2,115 m) in Contamines. Crossing by going down south under Aiguille de Roselette. You will put on your skins when meeting a flat to climb a long small valley to get to Col de la Cicle (2,377 m) or Col de la Fenêtre. A beautiful descent onto Balme and Nant Borrant (1,452 m) then ascent to Tré la Tête refuge (1,970 m) via Combe Noire.
Day 2 D+ 1200m/D- 1890m
Departure from the refuge to go to the summit of Mont-Tondu (3,196 m). You will cross and go down “mauvais pas” to gain access to Tré la Tête glacier. Way above Tré la Grande seracs to climb the glacier. Crossing of the glacier to get to the slopes of Mont-Tondu glacier. Then you will get to the pass (3,050 m) under Pain de sucre. Descent via Jovets lakes.

The guides could be led to change the program depending on the weather conditions, the mountains and the level of the participants.
