Upper Tour du Mont-Blanc (on the glaciers)

The upper Tour du Mont-Blanc (on the glaciers) is an original way of doing the Tour du Mont Blanc, away from the classic trail. A beautiful way to discover glacier walking. Ideal for those who want to go hiking in the high mountains, but also a great preparation to try to climb the summit of Mont Blanc …

Technical and physical level

It’s recommended you already have hiking experience (mid-range mountains). The climb requires a good training and is addressed to sports people. You’ll be walking for between 6 and 9 hours per day, so you’ll have to prepare and practice cardio during your endurance trainings. (biking, running, hiking in the mountains …)

Don’t forget that you’ll be walking with a 8 kilograms backpack, this increases the amount of effort needed to walk, be sure to be training with this extra weight.
