First 4,000-metre summit: a real first step in the mountaineering world. It is intended for hikers or sportspeople who do not have any experience and who want to discover that wonderful domain. Also very suitable to prepare oneself for a future ascent of Mont-Blanc.
From mid-June to September depending on the conditions
The climb requires a good training and is addressed to sports people. You’ll be walking for 6 to 10 hours, so you’ll have to prepare and practice cardio during your endurance trainings. (biking, running, …) Don’t forget that you’ll be walking with a 8 kilograms backpack, this increases the amount of effort needed to walk, be sure to be training with this extra weight.

The previous day
Appointment at 6.30 pm at the guides’ office. Night spent in a 2-star hotel with all-inclusive package.
In the early morning ascent to Albert 1er refuge (2,702 m) with Tour ski-lifts (1h30). School of ice on Tour glacier in the afternoon where you will learn the crampon technique. Night spent at Albert 1er refuge.
Ascent of the summit of Tête Blanche (3,421 m) or Aiguille du Tour (3,542 m). Snow change on the glacier to practise what you learnt the previous day. You will discover a magnificent panorama on the slope of Trient and Saleinaz, in front of Aiguille du Tour. You will come back to Saint Gervais or to Contamines and spend the night in a 2-star hotel with all-inclusive package.
In the late morning route to Pont village in Italy, meal at Bergerie de Pont in Valsavarenche (1,960 m), ascent to Vittorio Emmanuele refuge (2,732 m) and night at the refuge (2 hours).
Ascent of the summit of Gran Paradisio (4,061 m), snow change on the glacier and rocky summit, meal at the refuge and descent into the valley. Between 7 and 9 hours.
The elevation differences are approximate and may vary.
The guides could be led to change the program depending on the weather conditions, the mountains and the level of the participants.
Reservations starting early november
Register by filling the registration form dated and signed and with the 30% deposit, plus the optional insurance coverage amounts. Having a repatriation help service coverage is compulsory to attend our trips. If you do not have one, we can offer you one.
