Detailed program for the Balcons du Mont-Blanc The previous day Appointment at 6.30 pm at the guides' office. Day 1 + 1050m – walking time: 6h. At the beginning of the day, we leave our car at the parking lot La Lanche au Reposoir, not far from the old Chartreuse. We then climb up from the valley to the first pass at 1925m. We continue our ascent under the Pointe Percée summit, to the Gramusset hut at 2150m, in a setting that may resemble the edge of the world Day 2 + 950m/- 850m – walking time: 6h. We go back down into the valley, at the foot of the Aravis mountains, to go back up another valley, one of the most beautiful ones there. We change sides at the top, to discover a stunning view on the Mont Blanc and it’s glaciers. We walk by a series of lakes in a wild setting. After another pass, we end up at the Doran refuge, with the Pointe Percée just above us. Day 3 + 825m/- 1200m – walking time: 4h. From the hut we go up to another pass, with again, another breathtaking panorama. After that, we go down one last time, above the Reposoir village, through amazing pastures. Walking time and differences in height are approximate and could vary. The guides could be led to change the programme depending on the weather conditions, the mountains and the level of the participants.
