Program

Detailed program for Ski touring at Magia hut.

The day before

Appointment with the guide at 6:30 pm at the guides office of Saint Gervais.

Day 1
Mont Morion (2711m) or du Col Tsomioy (2642m)

We leave Saint Gervais in the direction of the Mont Blanc tunnel around 8am. When arriving in the small valley of Saint Barthélémy around 9:30 am we put on the skins to go, via the cross-country ski trails, in 1h30, to the magnificent and comfortable Magia refuge at 2000m altitude. Time to stop and leave some of the equipment there, drink our first cappuccino and then leave for a beautiful first hike with the ascent of Mont Morion (2711m) or Col Tsomioy (2642m) depending on the conditions in the area. Picnic at the top and return gently to our comfortable base camp where the aperitif and dinner based on the best regional products await us.

Day 2
Becca de Fontaney (2972m)

After a typical Italian breakfast and one of many cappuccinos of the weekend, we leave quietly towards Becca de Fontaney (2972m) to arrive around noon at the top where we enjoy a breathtaking panorama (also possible to have lunch around 1pm at the refuge on the way down). From the top, 1400m of descent await us alternating between beautiful gentle slopes and very pleasant forest skiing. We return to the valley in the middle of the afternoon, tired legs and images of snow-capped peaks as beautiful memories.

The guides could be led to change the program depending on the weather conditions, the mountains and the level of the participants.
